Best Guided Egypt Group Trip

Fly into Cairo International Airport. I will be waiting for you to bring you by private transfer to our favorite downtown hotel. After check-in come and join me to soak up some of Cairo by night, the city that never sleeps!

After our local breakfast we will drive to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You have been reading about them since you were a kid and now its time to see them for real! You can even go inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu if you wish. After we have finished soaking up the pyramids under the warm Egyptian sun we will have lunch with an amazing view of the Pyramids. This will be a culinary experience while also having an amazing dining view of the last remaining wonder of the world.

After lunch we will make the short journey to the Irish designed Grand Egyptian Museum. This state of the art museum is the largest archaeological museum in the world, showcasing over 100,000 artefacts

In the evening you can relax and enjoy the rooftop views from our guesthouse before we head out for a delicious group dinner.

After a relaxing start to our morning, we will check out the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation. It now houses 22 royal mummies. They were paraded through Cairo in 2021 from the Egyptian museum to their new home. Now is the time for you to see them up close!

After lunch, it will be hilltop views of Cairo from the Citadel. We will also go inside the Muhammad Ali mosque which is housed inside the complex.

After some time to relax we will move to El Moez street and the famous bazar of Khan and Khalili. It’s time to practice your bargaining skills and pick up some nice souvenirs.

Time to head south. After an early morning start, we will take a short flight to Aswan. Take the morning to enjoy the beautiful Nile views from our traditional Nubian style guesthouse.

After some rest, we will take a local felucca (boat) to explore Philae Temple with our Egyptologist.

We will return for a Nubian style lunch with a Nile view.

In the evening you have the option to come join us on a tour of a local Nubian village, meet the locals and taste their delicious food and drinks.

This morning’s optional trip is to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Abu Simbel! For many of you, this is a reason alone to visit Egypt. It is an incredible experience and worth the long distance drive to get there.

On return to Aswan we will check in to our Nile Cruise.

Once you are settled you can enjoy a stroll around Aswan and check out their local souk.

Dinner on board and relax on deck with drink in hand for the evening.

We will start our late night cruise to Luxor.

Rise and shine and welcome to Kom Ombo Temple. Here we will have a guided tour of the temple and afterward breakfast on board.

Enjoy your day on deck soaking up the sun, sipping on a cocktail and relaxing.

In the evening we will visit Edfu temple for sunset and return to the ship for dinner.

Welcome to the most historically rich city in the world! Today is the day we’ll ride a hot air balloon for sunrise with incredible views of ancient Luxor. This is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Afterwards, we will go to visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi on Memnon before we head back to the east bank for lunch.

In the afternoon we will explore the nearby temples of Luxor and Karnak and enjoy the sunset surrounded by incredible feats of engineering.

After dinner you will have free time to explore Luxor and its bustling bazar.

All good things must come to an end. It is time to say goodbye. There will an early morning transfer to Luxor airport. You will arrive in Cairo to catch your flight back home.

For those who would like to explore more of Egypt and visit the Red Sea this is your chance! There will be an option to add as many days as you would like to your trip. I will tailor the extra days exactly to your liking.

The options are endless! Boat trips, diving, snorkeling, fishing, para sailing, desert quad biking or simply just relax by the beach with a coffee or a cocktail! Accommodation and transfers will also be arranged with a return flight from Hurghada back to Cairo.
